Assuming you are reading it right, yes, you have a May 1980 barrel. Other possibility 2006 doesn't work because fixed modified barrels were no longer being made. If you know positively it is the original barrel, the rest of the gun was made about the same time. The serial number will tell you if it even possible it is the original barrel.
