Your revolver was shipped to the Government in July of 1863. There are no further records about the history of Remington Revolvers. As far as value it is difficult to determine without handling the revolver. I suggest you get a copy of Falyderman's Guide to Antique American Firearms, read chapter two on Values and Condition and use that to determine its value.
