1909 catalogue --

Remington Arms Co. must have been test marketting this John D. Pedersen designed pump gun a few years earlier, because here is a picture of Frank Riehl holding one in a 25 May 1907 sporting paper --

In the 1910 catalogue Remington Arms Co. began offering a solid rib for $6.75 extra. When the companies were combined in 1911 as Remington Arms - Union Metallic Cartridge Co. they began calling the gun the Model No. 10. In 1916, when gearing up for war production the company was incorporated and became Remington Arms - Union Metallic Cartridge Co., Inc. In 1920, post-War reorganization found a new company being formed, Remington Arms Co., Inc. and later that year Remington Arms - Union Metallic Cartridge Co., Inc. was dissolved. In the first catalogue issued by Remington Arms Co., Inc. they introduced the Model 10T "Target" Grade, a ventilated rib trap gun with a large/long extension Fore-end.
