Springfield-Remington conversion M1868 rifle

Please help me collect the whereabouts or Serial Numbers of all known examples of the Springfield-Remington conversion M1868 rifle. This is the type where Springfield Armory bought 505 frames from Remington and used them to convert rifle muskets to breech loader. Of these, 500 were shortened to 36 in. barrels; each of these was numbered on top of the barrel at the breech. Today these are for some reason very scarce, and for research I am compiling a list of remaining rifles. You can post your answer here. Ed Hull
