The only markings on the barrel are 6MM REM and what I believe is the Final Inspector stamp on the left side. The inspector stamp looks like a mountain range with three peaks sitting on top of a large V. On the right side of the barrel there is the Magnaflux stamp (M inside of a triangle) and the proof mark (REP inside of an oval). Those are the only stamps on the barrel. There aren't any other stamps or company information on the barrel. The serial number is 6573XXX. I tried to download some pictures but it but the file size was to big. Any help would be appreciated.
If there is no preceding letter before the serial number, it was most likely made sometime between 1972 and 1975. (I have 700s that were made in 1971 and 1972 that have serial numbers a bit lower than yours.) In about 1976, they started adding a letter prefix.....starting with "A", that were incremented at approximately 5-year intervals.
In 1974, on the BDLs, they went from "impressed" checkering to "cut" checkering, and in the very late 1970s they went to a "skip-line" checkering.

With the marks on the right side, it sounds like a factory Remington barrel.
The date codes would be on the left side of the barrel, but it's odd that the Remington name isn't on the left side.
