Model 17 20 Ga, Full Choke, Full Taper Rib, 30 in Barrel

I haven't owned a firearm since I was in college but just came into posession of a beautiful Remington Model 17, 20 Gauge, Full Choke with a full tapered rib and a 30 inch barrel. From what I can make out the manufacture date codes are AP which I interpret to be March of 1923. It has original stock, no engraving, rust bluing and has the manufacturer imprint as; "The Remington Arms Union Metallic Cartridge Co., Inc." and a Patent Date of June 15, 1915. I would like to know more about it if anyone could enlighten me a little. Thanks very much!
