Magazine follower and spring for a 1976 870 WM-2 ¾” chamber
Re: Magazine follower and spring for a 1976 870 WM-2 ¾” cham
I have blued steel followers on both my 1960s 1100s, and plastic on my 1976 Wingmaster. No trouble with either, but I prefer the steel. Haven't seen stainless, but several aluminum ones are okay. All my magazine springs are original. Unless it's rusty or you are having problems I wouldn't worry about it. Clean the magazine tube interior well with a 10 gauge bore brush wrapped with 00 steel wool and some WD-40 or RemOil. A rusty or gritty magazine tube will chew up a plastic follower.
What could have happened... did.
