Remington Rolling Block #2 Rifle in 22RF

Hello All. I just acquired a Remington Rolling Block #2 Rifle chambered for 22RF, serial number "6566" marked on the lower tang. Patent dates are marked on the left-hand side of the receiver; "E. REMINGTON & SONS, ILION, N.Y." in italics on top of the rear of the 26" barrel near the receiver & "22" on the underside of the barrel in front of the forend cap. I am interested in any information you can provide as to date of manufacture. Thanks in advance!

After review of some additional photos of the manufacturer's marks, John Gyde has estimated this rifle was made somewhere in the mid-1870's. I have provided those photos here for all to review - any additional thoughts will be much appreciated & thanks to John for his assistance!
