You have a Remington Model 14-1/2 . The receiver was made in 1913. This rifle was made in two versions, a 22-1/2 inch barrel and a 18-1/2 inch carbine. The loger rifle was also made with a "half" mag (short carbine mag). It came in two calibers, 44-40 and 38-40. Take good care of it, they are getting hard to find.
