REMINGTON 12GA., MODEL 11, F GRADE SHOTGUN

Knobbo
I don't collect the Model 11 but have Remington Catalogs from that time.
The 1913-14 catalog says;
The No. 11F "Premier" grade autoloading shotgun is an example of the finest American gun making, perfect in every detail and as beautiful in finish as can be produced. The stock and fore-arm are of the finest Circassian walnut, inlaid with gold name plate and finished with delicate but elaborate checkering. The engaving on this grade is a work of art, the exquisite game panels are surrounded with deeply shaded scroll and border engravings which brings out the game in relief. OWNER'S INITIALS ENGRAVED ON NAME PLATE IF SO DESIRED. Grip and stock dimensions optional. Half-pistol grip shown.
* Can be furnished in dimensions same as 11A within two or three days. Other dimensions require six to eight weeks
Solid ribbed barrel instead of plain at an advance of $6.75 list
Ventilated ribbed barrel instead of plain at an advance of $13"
List price is $125
Please note that RSA members do not give values on the RSA site. A gun like yours is very hard to put a value on. There are not alot of graded guns on the market, so values jump all over the place depending of who wants the gun and the location as well as the amount of publicity.
It doesn't take much of an "F" grade in any model to reach the thousands mark but it needs to be without modifications and in good condition.
Hope some of the other guys have more information.
