Remington Model 6 PISTOL

My husband inherited a gun from his great grandfather. After cleaning it up we are able to see REMINGTON MODEL 6
made in New York, ny nonmetallic cartridge company.

we are unable to find out any thing on this. we do not know when it was made, his great grandfather passed away in the early 1900's, so we know it is made before this time.

If anyone has any information on a REMINGTON MODEL 6 HANDGUN
please help us out.

Remington Made a Model 6 RIFLE from 1901 to 1932. It was not a hand gun and if yours looks like a handgun someone must have modified it If you can find a serial number I can probablkly supply you with a year of manufactur. They are considered a boys rifle and are usually found in 22 & 32 Rim Fire cal. Jay Huber RSA
