That's why I collect Rem 22s I guess. I obviously didn't know they made a 750...

My thought would be to start with getting the barrel date code and serial number. Then call Remington.

I can't find anything in any of the catalogs that indicate a 750 being built in a .280 Rem. The older 740s, 742s and 7400s were chambered for the .280, but this one may have been a special order through some place like Grice.
