need help on new 700

just bought the 700 of my dreams, .308, 26 in heavy barrel, laminated stock, less then 100 rds thru it. Its a newer model, has the lock on the bolt. I want to adjust the trigger from its 6 lbs down to about 2.5 to 3 lbs. I have the procedure for adjusting the three screws that I used on an older 700 in 30-06, but I don`t know if any thing has change on the these new models, any one know? thanks

I would recommend you contact Remington Arms for this information. Current information on new models is available on their site.

went ahead and made the adjustment, now has a crisp 2.75 lb pull, just the way I like it, ready to burn up some bullseyes
