Price check on 12C
Most of the 12-Bs & Cs came with the pistol grip stock. The straight grip is a little harder to find, but will not bring a significant premium. The tang sight appears to be a Marbles. Because it requires an additional hole to be drilled in the stock, it may be a $50 premium at the most. $400+ may be a little steep, but then you would have an extra. Nothing wrong with that. As Jay says, it's hard to judge without handling it. If the bore is really excellent, it certainly helps.
A guy came into the shop the other day with one that they called a Gallery Gun. It only shot .22 shorts.
In the book, in excellent condition - it said it was worth $1400
The guy was offered $300 and he was holding out for $400
There was a screw missing from the trigger guard.
If it is the same model as what you showed here, I would say it was easily worth $400!
