Rem 6mm 700...20"ADL

Post by matgyver »

I made a trip down to the pawn shop to look around, never really do find much that catches my eye, but this time there was this old 700 short action. There are NEVER short actions at a pawn shop here...I mean never. When someone says "Deer Rifle" they are talking .270 or 30-06...to them, that's all there is...

Anyway...flat safety, stubby bolt shroud, welded bolt knob, receiver drilled for peeps....a real nice looking gun....in 6mm Rem with a short 20" BBL.

It's got an interesting Bushnell Banner 3-9 with an elevation knob that has a ranging window...still trying to figure out if that was factory....

Barrel code is DK..5 digit serial..I think Sept of 63?

What's the consensus on this 6mm Rem? Rare? Worth anything? I'd like to sell it now since I found out how much ammo is!

Yeah the 6mm ammo is not as cheap as it used to be, but there are still die hard 6mm guys out there that love the caliber. You have a carbine, plenty of them out there if you want to look. If you want to let it go, just drop me an email rgr4hire@yahoo.com .
