MY quote from the thread listed below regarding 'modern' Remington rifles.

Unless a physical condition prevented me from shooting the various centerfire cartridges available, I'd never limit myself to the .22LR.
I can see it if it were a necessity, though.

Since I posted that, I have been placed in the 'necessity' catagory!
In 2006, I had surgery on my left thumb for arthritis, shortly followed by OPEN HEART SURGERY to repair a mitral valve!!!
Yeah, now I know!
Add to that a DIVORCE in progress and it wasn't my best year!

Still having the 'clicking' of the sternum going on, so I won't be shooting anything stronger than my .223's and .308's for while.

This is a depiction of my ArmaLite AR10 / .308 rifle as first conceived in 2003 for AR15.com as that year's Special Edition Black Rifle.
I got #007 for obvious reasons!
I don't have a picture of it yet, but when I do, I'll post it. It was recently upgraded by ArmaLite, so it's even better than new!
