#7 Rolling Block in 32-20

Post by CLG »

As a new member I thought I would start out by asking for any information about my #7 Rolling Block. The rifle is in 32-20 and is about 98% case and blue with a very good+, or better, bore. It differs in appearence only in having a straight barrel at the muzzle as opposed to the flared section under the front sight I have seen in illustrations of this model. It also has a flip up front sight with a short square post and a taller, very thin, post enclosed in a ring.

I realize these are uncommon in general, and seemingly more so in 32-20. My initial questions are: have any of you seen others in this caliber, what loads would be safe to shoot in it, and does caliber effect value significantly? Many thanks for any help, Charles
