Greetings all,
I noticed that in Remington's 2007 catalog Remington has a model 572 with a smoothbore. I would be most appreciative if somebody could tell me if this new model 572 smoothbore has a "Routledge" type bore in which the last half of the barrel's bore opens up to a diameter considerably larger than .22" - say approx .38" For those of you that do not know, this special type of bore produces much tighter patterns with .22 shotshells than if the bore was .22 for the entire length of the barrel. The reason I want to know is because, if it does have a Routledge type bore, I will buy one.
Thanks,
