Rem 700 Carbine

Is it unusual to find an older (1964) Rem 700 in 20" barrel configuration and being an ADL?

No, they aren't considered rare, but its getting harder to find them in really nice condition. Also, there appears to be a growing clique of target shooters that are taking these fine guns, regardless of condition, and turning them into M40 snipers. Now, if you have a 280, 222 rem mag, or 6mm they are the scarcer than others according to Lacy. To me, short action calibers seem harder to find than long action.
