Have got a gem SN 314xx S, L, LR with 95% bluing and wood in excellent condition. Looking for date of manufacture and approximate value. Ideas?

My records start in 1941 and from them I am guessing your gun was made in 1940. We do not evaluate guns but suggest a current issue of BLUE BOOK OF GUN VALUES. Jay Huber RSA
