I have a Model 81 that has been in the family for many years but is missing the removeable magazine (.35 Remington).
This was one of the rifles modified in Detroit sometime during the early
1950's.
The original removeable magazine was left in the pocket of a hunting coat
(Red wool type) and sold at a garage sale by another member of the family after the family member had passed away.
The rifle is in excellent condition (has a "Williams" offset scope and mounts).
Has anyone come across one of the removeable magazines?
What would some of my options be? (Have new mag made? Replace
trigger guard and magazine? Use as a single shot?)
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks!

Hi Gents,
Read this post the other day and this morning at http://www.sturmgewehr.com
someone has two of the Peace Officers equipment magazines posted for sale. I don't know this gentleman but thought you guys might be interested. States that they are for the .300 Savage chambering though.
Might work with the .35 Rem. by the way he wants $200.00 apiece.
Look in the Parts/Accessories section.
