1889 butt removal

I need some help in removing the buttstock of my shot gun.
Does any body have a schematic for one of these
I have everything off and can not remove the side plates from the pins in the front
Please help me ...............Thanks jim

If you loosen the screw going from one side plate to the other and tap on it , the other side plate will come loose . I don't believe there is a front pin. They have a lip on the front of the lock plate that goes in a recess on the receiver . That's why you " knock " the back of the lock loose first . Paul
