Thanks for the info. I e-mailed them this morning. They show Leon Wier's name as the contact. He passed away early this summer, so calls to his home could only cause problems for his wife. I asked them to remove his name. Leon answered questions for the Remington Society for many years. I don't believe there was ever a fee attached. He also never represented that his information qualified as "Factory Letters".

Okay, thanks. His name came up while I was searching for factory letters on antiqueguns. I also recall reading that fees ranged from free to 25 bucks, but that may have applied to another item. Anyway, i look forward to your book coming out. thanks again for the info.
