dom for my remington 17

barrel says 6091 and no codes, frame says BO over 6091, trigger group says 6091. any help appreciated as i'd like to know date of manufacture. also when did remington start production on the model 17?

I would like to know the d.o.m. of my model 17. It has s/n 19866 marked on frame and barrel. "BO" is above he s/n on the frame. What does this mean? There are two marks on the side of the barrel opposite of the s/n: The typical Remington anchor and within an oblong circle the letters "RR.E.P." One R is stuck over the other. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
