Remington 81 in 35 Remington

Hi all. I just picked up a Remington 81 in 35 Rem and I have a question. Did any of the grades come with nickel screws, safety lever and magazine side springs? All of the screws, even the rear sight screws are nickel. This rifle has a plain buttstock and forearm, but at least for the buttstock, it looks like a replacement as it has a gap between it and the receiver. The barrel appears to be nickel too (not the jacket). Any thoughts?

I dont believe your sccrews are nickled. I just dont think they were reblued when they reblued the rest on the metal. Looks like they cleaned them up and removed the old bluing and jusy left them silver.
