Old Remington semi auto shotgun

I have an old 12 ga. semi auto shotgun that my father in law left me. The serial number is 39756. It has a lot of fancy engraving on it. I contacted Remington and they said it may be something special and I should contact you. I have pictures but don't know how to attach them to this. I could email them with an email address.
