Hello all, I have a model 24 take down in a 22 caliber that i am looking for a dom and value on i would say it was 75% condtion well used and well loved. this has been passes down for 3 generations and don't know all the history behind it if you could help it would be greatly appericated serial # is 105504 there is no Letter in front of numbers. Dad said it was made in 1922 but no N there to verify that thank Kathie kbosarge36619@hotmail.com

Your M/24 was made in 1931, give or take a year or so. A "Z" would signify 1931. There should be a barrel code showing the month and year of assembly. You might have to remove the fore-end to find it. The current BLUE BOOK shows a value of $150 for a M/24 in 80% condition.

Great gun. Is it a 22 Short or Long Rifle?

long rifle its the one that i learned to shoot with one .day it will be mine , but hopefully not anytime soon

I have acquired a Model 24, 22 long rifle. Can anyone tell me the date of manufacture. Patent date on barrel reads Oct. 24, 1916. A number appears on underside of barrel, and also on left side of chamber area - the # is 113326. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

It was made near 1932. Check the barrel code info above for month and date of production.
