Remington 700 BDL Carbine
Remington 700 BDL Carbine
Hi, I have a Model 700 BDL Carbine in 350 rem mag. and would like to get a general idea of what it is worth. I know without seeing it you can't give a specific value, however a couple hundred dollar range would be much appreciated. The rifle is very good condition, with no significant signs of wear or abuse. It is not the classic model.

Remington never made a 700 carbine in the 350. Are you sure its not a 600 or 660?
Re: Remington 700 BDL Carbine
Yes, it is a 700 carbine. The made less than 1600 in 1969 and sold them between that year and 1975.

Re: Remington 700 BDL Carbine
If its a carbine then it has a 20" or less barrel. If it does then someone cut it and its not worth much. The 350s had a 24" inch barrel.
Re: Remington 700 BDL Carbine
Is it possible to check with Remington to determine if it is a carbine or as you suggested, cut-down?

Re: Remington 700 BDL Carbine
You can check if you like, but there is a 99.99% chance that they will refer you to us. I have several 350s in the 700 and there all 24" barrels. They were classified in the remington book at that time as 24" barrel. They did not make any runs of carbines in that era. The carbine 20" barrel was replaced with a 22" barrel on the style before it. Post a picture of the gun and the crown. Or email me some pictures remington600@att.net
