Another Model 12 Question

I have a Model 12C with a serial number of 1619xx and would like to know when it was manufactured. The number on the butt plate matches the number on the receiver. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Your model 12 was manufactured late 1912.

It's unusual to have the # on the butt plate match the receiver #. Even my early serial #26 has a butt plate stamped 36. During most of the production run they varied by up to a few hundred numbers.
