How old is my Great Grandfathers rifle? Model 8 .32 Rem

Hi I'm new to the forum. Have a question on my Great Grandfathers Gun. I inherited and still use every once in a while. Its a .32 Rem Model 8 and the serial number is 75XX. Was wondering what year it was manufactured. Killed an Elk with it this year- one shot behind the shoulder and it folded like a sack of potatoes at less than 100 yrds. The box of shells I have with it has a sale mark of $4.35 for a box of Remington Core-Lokt 170 grain Soft Points. So Imagine they've been around for awhile too.

Your Welcome! I had one just like it in same caliber. I never hunted with it but did shoot targets with it. It was a great gun and fun to shoot, . Jay
