Protype patent pending Remington
Protype patent pending Remington
I have a prototype of a Remington that even the historian cannot tell me what it is? Can you Please help? It is approximately 7 inches long has a plunger for a trigger and takes only 1 shell at a time. Has no number just Remington Arms and patent pending on it.

Re: Protype patent pending Remington
You need to give a lot more information.
Re: Protype patent pending Remington
What type of action? Rolling Block, falling block, revolver???
The caliber would help as well.
A plunger for a trigger? Please describe in greater detail.
What makes you think it's a prototype? Many unusual guns have been made from factory barrels that were added to some other interesting parts in later years.
