Sorry it took so long for me to find your question. The Model 34 was made from 1932 through 1935. Approximately 163,000 were made. The Model 34 was Remington's first bolt action 22 repeater. It was intended to be a companion gun to the Model 33. Sales were OK, but not fantastic, partially because of the introductory price of $13.25, compared to $5.00 for the Model 33 single shot.

is there any chance that you would be willing to part with that gun?
If it is in good condition I would be willing to pay as much as $200 :?:

I also have a Model 34 N.R.A. Target with a Lyman 55R peep Sight. Is this considered the NRA JUNIOR or the 34P?

If the NRA lettering is on the barrel, it is a NRA Target. The 34-P has the same sight, but no "NRA" on the barrel. The NRA Junior designation is for the M/33 NRA.

I'm 39 + 26. Sorry 'bout being a grouch. I got home last night from the Reno gun show and was tired. I should have waited until this morning to turn on my computer. I made a mistake once, too... I don't remember what it was though. Or, my father liked to say that he was wrong only once. He said he was wrong when he was actually right.
