New Old Nylon 66

This is my first post and this question has probably been asked a million times here. My wifes Step-Father just gave me a very nice Remington Nylon 66 thats black with no white diamond just white spacers. I think I have the serial number date figured out but just want to make sure. The serial number is A2167163 so I think the 'A' prefix is for 1980 or later. On the barrel is stamped and AV and 86 so I think March of 1986? Thanks for any corrections or help.

What you have is a "Black Diamond" model built in March of 1979, according to 2 data sheets I have.
