engraved old derringer
I have an old remington derringer Elliots over and under. Overall length is 4 3/4, barrel length is 3. It is a 41 caliber with an oscillating firing pin. It is marked Remington Arms Co. Ilion,Ny. It has engraving all over. My question is did Remington engrave my gun..Any help would be appreciated. No serial # that I can find

Nothing beats a gun in hand for determining if it's original engraving but there is typical Remington style which would be at least a start of a determination but it would require some good photo's.
