722 257 roberts barrel twist rate?

Hello, I am new to this forum... I have just purchased, but have not received a 722 in 257 Roberts Ackley. The barrel appears to be stock (looks like my 721 etc.) I am trying to locate on the net as to the barrel twist rate. I am finding three different answers 1:9, 1:10, 1:12 Are there different rates for this rifle? Most are saying 1:12, but some say after a certain manufacture date it could be a faster twist..... What is the real answer?

You are probably looking at 1:10. The 244 Rem. Had 1:12 and later ones changed to 1:9. You could of saved a lot of time and hassle making 257 ackley brass, and just bought the 244. Your rifle would have been worth more and it wouldn't be someones science project.
