Help With shotgun info?

Post by discsell »

Just bought a Remington Sportsman 12 ga. shotgun. Humpback style with whole line of Browning pat #'s. Is there a schematic somewhere for these or parts lists. Will not eject shot shells and I can't find any info on these. :?:

Search on ebay. You can usually find reprinted shop manual pages for most older Remington models. I just saw a couple of old Remington shop manuals for sale at The Big Reno show.

First I claim complete shotgun ignorance, but is the 12 the same as the auto-5?
If so I have a electronic copy of manual w/ schematic.
(and a copy of instructions someone wrote, why who knows)

It's a little differently made. That's why I'm having such trouble finding info on it. There is a manual on ebay I'm going for but still am hoping it is the same model as mine.

Are you sure that's not a Model 11 you have? I believe if you go to Numrich Arms they have a schematic online, or at least they have a parts list.

The Sportsman is essentially a 3-shot version of the Model 11. They were brought out about the same time frame the 20- and 16-gauge guns were added to the line -- early 1930s.
