Wingmaster History and Value

Hello to everyone. I am new to the Remington society forum. I like to collect older shotguns and am considering buying a wingmaster serial number 5202896V. Can anyone share advice on the history and value for this shotgun? I don’t have a pump 12 gauge and if I’m going to have one I’d like a wingmaster since it’s an iconic shotgun. Would appreciate any insight and advice from the experts here! Thank you.

Hi, not an expert by any means and someone with lots more knowledge may provide better insights. The best I could find out about mine was that you need the barrel code to determine the date of manufacture and that usually gets it to one of several decades. You have to use other attributes of the shotgun to try and narrow that down more. As far as value, that depends on the condition and location. You can look on-line for items for sale and get an idea as to what the value may be. These are great shotguns!

Check the online auction sites for value, the prices found can both be asking and sold. Compare the condition of yours for a similar value.
