Hello.
I recently acquired and subsequently sold the what I assumed was a Remington 700 TI Lightweight (model 26360) in .260 REM.
At least that's what I thought I had based on the box label.
Now, the new owner is telling me that Remington never made a titanium lightweight in these color combinations. He's saying the rifle was coated and the stock is not original.
Can someone tell me what's going on?

Re: 700 TI LIGHTWEIGHT - MODEL 26360
Just a guess, a limited run for one of the wholesalers. It's not unusual for Remington to make a special run for a wholesaler, that wholesaler will offer it to their dealers, the those dealers offer it to their customers so that the buyer will have something that not everyone else has. This is common and normal, Remington won't list it in their catalog because that version belongs to the wholesaler. The rifle looks legit to me and it's just my thought that it is a limited run rifle.
