Receiver code: 6598775

UE makes no sense. Serial number dates it October or November of 1972

thank you so much for the reply. It is VERY difficult to make out the markings on the barrel. It might have been re-blued at some point, but I did the best I could reading it with a magnifying glass.

Barrel date code should be "(E or R) and W". 98 would be the assembler. U could be the final inspector. There would be, in this year, 4 symbols/markings and yours mite read U EW 98 or U RW 98, with I believe, your month/year EW or RW being 2 separate letter stampings of the same font as opposed to 2 letters on one stamp if you follow me.
