Model 1900 Forend.

Hello, all. I am new to the forum, and naturally begging for help. I have a 1900 KE 16ga that the forend is not as tight as it should be. Slight pressure on the end will cause it to spring loose.That's the first problem. While looking for a possible cause, I now have the forend off with the hammers dropped! Could anyone please tell me how to cock the hammers? And I would greatly appreciate any info on tightening the Baker style forend latch. Researcher, I see you are also a member on this site, any ideas? Thanks for any help

I got the hammers cocked and also discovered that I need a latch spring which goes beneath the J hook in the forend. Any idea where I could find one?
