This is my Remington 550. Made March 1942, it seems. The more I learn about this rifle, the more interesting it is! It was gifted to me as a wedding present.

She's definitely a keeper.
Here's a few more pics.
She's been a safe queen for far too long. Cleaned it up good, although I was pleasantly surprised by how clean the internals were already. Gonna let her stretch her legs some this weekend.

Re: My Remington 550
This is a great example of the Remington 550. I've been looking for a 550 or 550A but have yet to find one. I have the 550-1 and will be picking up a 550-2G in two weeks. Would you happen to have a picture of the right and left sides of the bolt? I've been looking for a 550 bolt, as I don't have the rifle itself to include in a paper I'm writing.
