Howdy I am new here. My brother bought a Remington 870 Express Super Magnum Shotgun yesterday for his son for X-mas. They went out shooting today and they had a problem with ejecting the shells. They were shooting Federal high base 2 3/4" and 3" mag shells, the shell's base were a little egg shaped and the tip of the plastic hull was torn on every shell they fired today. I told him he should try some different ammo and contact Remington in the morning. I was just wondering if anyone else has run into this problem. Thanks for your help.

Update: My brother called Remington and they directed him to a local repair dealer. They found a large burr inside the barrel and it was repaired. Thanks
