Remington model UMC
I am buying a Remington 12 ga Model UMC CTG CO Serial #257534. Could anyone tell me when this was made? I cannot fine it any where, thanks for any info.

If it is a Model 11 autoloader June 1923 or if a Model 10 pump December 1926, well after the company became Remington Arms Co., Inc. in 1920. But they were still using the REMINGTON over UMC in a circle trademark and occasionally using up barrels marked The Remington Arms Union Metallic Ctg. Co., Inc., the company name 1916 to 1920.

Im hunting for .36 caliber Remingtons but every remake is a .36 on a .44 frame. This kinda defeats the reasons why I want a .36 cal Remington. Who else here would want to see a properly proportioned .36 cal Remington clone modeled after the new model police?
