ImageI have found a Remington 700 222. The gun was manufactured in 2003 and is a parkerized finish without a jeweled bolt. Currently the gun is in a Stockys laminate accustock and does have a hinged floorplate. My guess is it started life as a SPS but i cannot find any evidence of a parkerized 222 being produced. Can anyone tell me a little more about it? Id like to figure out what it actually is and get it put back together correctly. Serial number G6344604. 25 inch barrel

Thanks

Perusing the rack at larger local shooting sports store during this time turned up a couple of uncatalogued items from Remington. One for sure was a snowcamo stocked stainless 22/250 varmint type rifle and an odd stocked 597. Both were new in box. Didn't kno at the time they mite be limited models. I haven't tried hard but have found little or nothing concerning the items I saw. Yours may be the same case. 222 was chambered at the time.
