I old, this site does not have a lot of directions. How am I to know how many characters are need. I'm just looking for info a a model 700 222 cal , number 7825?

April or May, 1962, the first year of the 700 if 7825 is the serial number! Should have a 20 inch barrel. Should have the letters C or K and K on the barrel ahead of where the serial number is.
