Hello all-
New member with what I hope is not a stupid question- I can't seem to find a definitive answer online.
Does anyone here know if Remington produced a 742 CARBINE in .243? The sources I've found say that 9% of the total production of 742's were .243's, but there is never any mention if those were all rifles, or if carbines were also chambered in .243.
I'm looking for a short, lightweight deer rifle for a small statured granddaughter, and thought that something like this would be great for her, if it actually exists.
Thanks
Remington 742 CARBINE

Thank you I'll shift my question over there- didn't realize I was in the wrong spot!
