Rem. 1100 Question?/argument
Hello, been an advid user and lover of 1100's and until i die! But... recently been arguing with someone. He tells me that a buddy of his has been looking for a super rare? Remington 1100 in original Treebark camo and it came from the factory like that and worth up to $4000 bucks in this confiquration! i told him that they never made or released any such model and if they did it certainly does not sell for that! If so, i informed him the only difference would be the stocks which i know that the camo stocks are expensive now but dont think they ever made them in original tree bark which are just different shades of grey with no brown or green. Hell i remember having to go to a gun smith when they first came out with the mossy oak furniture and had to go to a smith to have my gun parked and put the stocks on it way ahead of Remingtons or any one elses idea. And i claim that Remington stole this from me! (i sent a pic to someone at Remington). But thats a story for another day. OK... back on track, Please let me know so either i can be imbarrassed or win some money on this one, Thanks! RED

Re: Rem. 1100 Question?/argument
I'm not aware of a M1100 in Treebark, the M11-87 was made in full Treebark. Treebark came out in the early 1980's and started getting popular about 1983, the M11-87 was introduced in 1987 and the M1100 was discontinued, so the possibility exists. My guess is that the M1100 was not offered in Treebark.
If it was made then it might have been a limited run for the NWTF, Whitetails Unlimited, a wholesaler or other organization.
