Rifle appears to be an Argentine rifle. The rifle has been restored, "R" is stamped on top of stock in front the of butt plate. also stamped on side of the barrel in front of receiver. Stock is Argentine military. The sights are those found on the Argentine + A Pedersoli tang sight All information commonly found on the Argentine rifle have been removed during restoration. machining is smooth & professional.. Rifle is in good condition & accurate shooter. Barrel is .44 caliber. Cartridge case is strange. Case overall length is for the Remington 44-90 Special. The measurements of the case (diameter, rim, etc.) are for the 44-90 special except the shoulder is the same as the 44-77. Brass made from 45-90 Winchester brass will work also from 348 wcf. Norma 45-120 brass trimmed to length is very firm brass & has a tendency to split length wise when trying to expand diameter when fired. can send picture of rifle if desired. Comes with NEI #27 1B 450 grain bullet mold
