Remington Model 30 Express
Remington Model 30 Express
Hello all!! Just picked up a Remington Model 30 Express in 30 Remington. Made in 1926 with an excellent bore and a Weaver K2.5 scope with a post reticle in an E C Herkner Echo quick detach side mount and Lyman peep sight. Is there any reference books on these rifles ? Anyone have in info on how many were produced in each caliber? I know most of these were 30-06’s , so I’m assuming an example in 30 Rem isn’t common. It’s a sweet shooter too. That’s a 7 shot group with 150 grain Hornady RN and IMR 3031 powder at 100 yards. Didn’t have to touch scope adjustment. It was dead on. Here is some pics as well as a pic of all my 30 Remington chambered rifles.

Re: Remington Model 30 Express
The Model 30 was not huge seller, the large portion of the production years fell during the years of the Great Depression. The Model 30 Express really fell into the Depression era and only about 23,000 rifles were produced, all calibers combined.
