Missing Scope Dovetail Mounting Clamp Ear

I bought for $10 today an old JC Higgins 4x rimfire scope that is missing one of the clamp ears that holds the scope ring to the rifle dovetail of my Remington Speedmaster?

I don't know of an easy source for those parts. You might try a local gun show, look for someone selling used scope mounts and old sights, sometimes they have misc pieces.

Should be easy to fabricate if necessary. Suitable bolt should be found at local hardware store.
